Everything you need to know about listing your server, claiming ownership, voting, earning gems, and advertising on RSC Server List.
Want your RSC server on the leaderboard? Here's the full process from start to finish:
You need to be signed in to submit a server. Click the Sign Up button in the top-right and register with your email or Google account.
Once logged in, go to the Submit Server page. You'll see a form with two tabs: "Submit New" and "Claim Existing".
Enter your server name, website URL, and a short description. These are what players see on the leaderboard and detail page.
This is the most important field. Enter the public URL that returns your live player count. If the URL returns just a number (like 42), you're done. If it returns HTML or JSON with the number buried inside, also provide a regex with a capture group around the number.
Click Submit. Your server enters a pending state. An admin reviews it to make sure it's a real RSC server with a working count URL.
Once approved, your server appears on the leaderboard and the system starts fetching your player count automatically every 5 minutes.
What you'll need: a working website URL, and a public URL that returns your live player count (either as a plain number or as HTML/JSON we can parse with a regex).
If your server is already listed but you don't own it on the site, you can claim it:
Navigate to the Submit Server page and switch to the "Claim Existing" tab.
You'll see a list of approved servers that don't have an owner yet. These are servers submitted by someone else (or by an admin) that nobody has claimed.
Find your server in the list and click the Claim button. The system verifies that you're a real user and assigns you as the owner.
Once claimed, the server shows up in your My Servers dashboard. You can edit its description, add a Discord link, post news, buy ads, and more.
Why claim? Only the verified owner can edit the server's description, add Discord links, post news updates, and purchase cash advertising boosts.
Once you own a server, the My Servers dashboard is your control panel. From here you can:
Voting is how the community decides which servers deserve the spotlight. Every vote helps your favorite server climb the rankings. Here's the full breakdown:
Browse the leaderboard and click on any server you want to vote for. You can also go directly to a server's vote page using its vote link.
You must be logged in to vote. On the server's vote page, click the Vote button to cast your vote and earn 0.25 Gems instantly.
Your vote is locked for 24 hours across all servers — not just the one you voted for. Come back each day to vote again and keep earning gems.
If your server wins the weekly race and you voted for it at least 4 times that week, you'll receive 2 bonus Gems when the week resets on Monday.
You get exactly one vote every 24 hours — not one per server, but one total. Once you vote for a server, you can't vote for any other server (or the same one again) until 24 hours have passed. This prevents spam and keeps the leaderboard fair, so choose the server you want to support most each day.
You don't need to be logged in to vote — guests can vote too (deduplicated by IP). But if you sign in, every vote earns you 0.25 Gems automatically. Gems are a virtual currency you can spend on the Advertisements page to buy boosts for any server — no real money needed.
Each week runs from Monday 00:00 ET to Sunday 23:59 ET. The server with the most unique voters (not total votes — each person counts once per server per week) wins the race:
How votes affect the leaderboard: The leaderboard ranks servers primarily by live player count, with votes used as the tiebreaker when two servers have the same number of players online. Votes also determine the weekly race winner — so voting consistently throughout the week matters more than a single spike.
A vote callback lets your game server automatically reward players who vote for it on rscservlist. When a player votes, rscservlist sends a signed HTTP request to your server as a "receipt" — your server verifies it and credits the reward. Here's how it works:
In your My Servers dashboard, edit your server and scroll to the Vote Callback section. Enter your game server's callback URL and a secret key of your choice. The secret is stored securely — it's never visible to other users.
Send players to your vote link with their in-game username in the URL:https://rscserverlist.com/vote/YOUR-SERVER-ID?username=PLAYER_NAME
The player enters their in-game username on the vote page and clicks Vote. rscservlist records the vote and immediately fires a POST request to your callback URL.
Your endpoint receives a JSON payload with the player's username, voter IP, timestamp, and the shared secret. Verify the secret matches, then reward the player in your game.
rscservlist sends this JSON body as a POST request:
{
"username": "Zezima",
"voted": 1,
"userip": "203.0.113.50",
"timestamp": "2026-10-17T13:05:00.000Z",
"secret": "your-shared-secret"
}Verification: Compare the secret field in the request to the secret you configured. If they match, the request is genuine — reward the player. Always respond with HTTP 200 and the body SUCCESS so rscservlist knows the reward was logged.
Security notes: The callback is fire-and-forget — if your server is down, the vote still counts on the leaderboard. The secret is stored separately from your public server data and is only visible to you and admins. Use HTTPS for your callback URL to keep the secret encrypted in transit.
There are two separate ways to advertise:
Pay real money to boost your own server. Choose from Gold Highlight, Featured Placement, or Sponsored+Pulse in 1-day, 3-day, or 7-day durations, plus the New Server Launch tier. Accessed from the My Servers dashboard.
Spend gems earned from voting to boost any server — no real money needed. Choose from Gold Boost, Featured Spot, or Pulse Highlight in 24-hour or 3-day durations. Applied instantly.
Go to Gem AdsServer owners can toggle advertising off for their server at any time from the My Servers dashboard.
Server News is where server owners share updates, announcements, and events with the community. Posts appear both on the leaderboard's news strip and on the dedicated Server News page. It's a way for owners to keep players informed about new content, schedule changes, or special events.
